KING’S BIRTHDAY GARBAGE COLLECTION
Residents are advised that Cootamundra garbage collection for the upcoming public holiday on Monday, 6 October 2025 will remain unchanged.
NOTE: Please ensure that your bin/s are placed out the night before as collection times may vary.
The Cootamundra Waste Depot will be open from 10:00am to 3:00pm on the public holiday.
The Gundagai Waste Depot will be open from 7:00am to 1:00pm as normal.

NOTICE TO RESIDENTS STOCKINBINGAL AND WALLENDBEEN
Councils contractor Elouera Association have requested to change the operating hours of the Stockinbingal and Wallendbeen village tips.
The changes to the operating hours are:
Stockinbingal Tip – Wednesdays and Sundays, 8:30 am to 12:00 pm
Wallendbeen Tip – Wednesdays and Sundays, 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm
Normal Waste Collection:
Council provides a weekly general waste collection service (red lid bin) and a fortnightly collection service of recyclable items and green waste.
Recycling – (yellow lid bin – Cootamundra) (dark green lid bin – Gundagai)
Green Waste – (light green lid bin – Gundagai) (green lid bin – Cootamundra)
