The footbridge over Morleys Creek has been completed, Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council (CGRC) employees are putting the finishing touches to the approaches this week.

Destroyed by floods in 2016, the old bridge has been replaced with a new structure designed to withstand destructive flood waters. The new handrails can be removed to allow debris to flow over the concrete and steel walkway and pylons.

The cost of the replacement bridge was $138,000 and has been fully funded by Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council.
